Owini is honored to announce the inauguration of the Samba Caju project in #Angola.
A water storage and #irrigation solution made to support the agricultural project conducted by Agricultiva – One of the important food security assets of Angola.
Yesterday our team, led and Americo Dias and Eyal G., and Agricultiva’s team, hosted the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. António de Assis, and the secretary of state in a ceremony at the farm where the project was successfully delivered.
Integrated with the irrigation system, the earth dam is 18 meters high and over 400 meters wide and has already reached the capacity of storing 2.65 million cubic meters of #water.
Once the irrigation system was initiated, the crops of Samba Caju could prosper and maximize yields. The advanced farm has created more job opportunities and contributed to the development of the #agriculture sector.
