About The Position
Develop and promote on the ground the project especially in the constructions phase that will last around 18 months
Develop, implement and review operational policies Construction and procurement procedures.
Control construction budgeting, reporting, and planning.
Manage and control subcontractors in Nacala port (engineering/ logistic / operations/ simple accounting / bookkeeping
Work with the board of directors to determine missions, and plans for short and long-term goals.
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
Recruit subcontractors report to off takers partners and verify quality on ground
Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
Fluent approach to government institutes and vast experience & synergy with high level administration functions preferable in the ministry of transportation or similar
Promote the opportunity , participate in road shows \ presentations and comities
• Supervise all construction activities on site
• Ensure that all occupational health and safety regulations are being complied.
• Delegated building tasks and construction responsibilities as necessary.
• Managed an on-site workforce of over 50 employees, including engineers, steel workers, and civil works subcontractors.

Requirements
Requested experience: at least 10 to 15 years of on ground experience
Education :civil engineer- mandatory!
Languages :Native Portuguese and fluent English - must!
Working experience in Mozambique - an advantage
The job requires moving to Nacala for at least 18 months
