Legal Business Partner
About The Position
The Division Legal Focal Point will be the primary point of contact to liaise with the corporate legal and compliance teams for all legal and compliance issues. This includes:
- preparation of all annexes to the contracts
- collection of information from the Division necessary for the contracts preparation and communicating it to the legal department
- collection of relevant information from other corporate units (finance, procurement, HR, insurance etc.)
- representing the Division companies in negotiation with third parties according to the instructions and supervision of the corporate legal team
- offering first-line of legal response to the division companies on legal questions
Requirements
Must have:
10 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment (in-house or through a law firm).
knowledge and understanding of commercial law / contract law.
Basic understanding of accounting/financial terms.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Multitasking abilities and capabilities to work in stressful environment.
Languages - excellent English (speaking and writing)
Advantageous skills:
Portuguese mother tongue
Additional languages is an advantage.
Experience working in an international company.
Experience in EPC contracts
BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree
