Sales Manager - Laboratory

About The Position

Yapama is a subsidiary of Mitrelli. We are a Healthcare Commercial Company, specializing in the distribution of medical equipment (laboratory, Imaging and Medical Devices), solutions, and services.

We are looking for a Sales Manager join our Lab Division team in Angola.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and leading a team of sales people and sales specialists.
  • Developing the sales team through motivaton, coaching, regular feedback and training needs.
  • Help and support the TEAM to drive revenue on existing and mainly on new customers.
  • Capability to motivate the team to generate leads, and follow up them.
  • Build clients relationships by managing and analyse CRM data.
  • Set quarterly sales forecasts and Sales Targets by product line and by customer.
  • Manage sales targets to achieve or exceed revenue forecasts.
  • Close work with the commercial director in public tender bids proposals and Key customers proposals, mainly on managing Group corporation projects leads and the coordination of their implementation and execution, ultimately meet customer needs.
  • Be able to go through the annual performance evaluation of the Team.
  • Realize the proper reporting about all activities with customers as well about the sales performance and explain the related positive/negative deviations vs sales targets.

Requirements

  • BSc. degree in Life Sciences or in Business Management.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Sales with at least 5 years experience leading a team.
  • Deep understanding of the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) market products.
  • Good scientific background knowledge and of the health diagnostics sector.
  • A strong existing connection to end-users will be a big plus.
  • Great tcustomer service focus and outstanding goal and target orientation.
  • Result driven personality, team player and excellent communicator – both verbally and in writing – with strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Must speak Portuguese and English.
