
Operations and Logistics Manager
About The Position
Main Responsibilities:
• Support and enforce all aspects of company policies/procedures, create, and maintain a high level of good communication between all the company departments;
• Administer procedures in a fair and consistent manner;
• Initiate communications with related departments and outside sources as required, to provide guidance, solicit information, and clarify procedures;
• Drive, build up, and manage very good local business relationship with suppliers and subcontractors;
• The Logistics Manager must ensure that logistics master data related to his/her specific origins are updated in respective global data bases in time and correctly;
• Control and ensure that timeline for the goods to arrive on the sites and support on the execution of all the processes and procedures.;
• Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure the best solutions for the projects.;
• Support the PMTs on reaching the deadlines of the projects, ensure the projects Budget’s and achieve the compliance of the scope and quality of the projects;
• Support the PMTs and Purchasing department for Procurement in Angola and ensure the proper logistic to send equipment and materials to the sites.;
• Supervise the fleet control and manage the resources according with the project’s needs.
Requirements
Main Requirements:
• Engineering Degree or equivalent;
• Experience of minimum 10 years in similar position;
• Experience of minimum 5 Experience in logistics process control;
• Experience of minimum 5 Experience in procurement process;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• English is mandatory;
• Experience in projects management in Energy field is a plus.
