Technical Sales Representative - Laboratory

About The Position

Yapama is a Healthcare Commercial Company, specializing mainly in distribution of medical equipment (laboratory, Imaging and Medical Devices), solutions, and services. Yapama is a subsidiary of the Mitrelli Group with representations in several countries in Africa.

We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team in Angola, Luanda. The purpose of this role is to promote and/or selling Yapama´s products across multiple channels in a designated territory by contacting hospitals, specialists, physicians, pharmacies and/others in the health sector. You must have driving license.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Following up on leads and winning new clients;
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts;
  • Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships;
  • Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio;
  • Providing superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction;
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions;
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes;
  • Strong commitment to follow-up sales performance and ensure to reach sales targets;
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, Marketing or Business Management preferred.
  • +3 years of sales experience or account management roles preferably in the laboratory, pharmaceutical and/or medical devices or clinical labs segment

  • Required travel ~20% of the time.
  • Must have Angolan nationality.
  • Must have driving license.
