About the role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing and communications strategy across the Division in Angola and Ivory Coast. As the go-to person for all marketing-related activities, you will lead efforts to create and implement consistent internal and external communications, develop a robust content strategy, own digital and social media initiatives, and manage all marketing activity. Additionally, you will play a lead role in managing, executing, implementing and reporting on varied marketing campaigns tailored to our Technology sector.

The role is a fulltime position, based in Luanda and you must have Angolan nationality to be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, own, and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to our business, aligning with overall corporate objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing activities within the region, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, digital marketing, internal and external comms and design to understand business needs and deliver effective marketing and communications activity.
  • Create and coordinate internal and external communication plans to enhance the regions visibility and promote a positive brand image.
  • Lead and implement content strategy efforts, ensuring the production of high-quality, relevant, and engaging materials for a variety of platforms.
  • Own social media initiatives, including content creation to increase online presence and engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new marketing opportunities and potential areas of growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of marketing experience ideally in the technology industry, with a proven track record in strategy development and execution.
  • Demonstrated understanding how to utilize social media and social platforms to build movements, support campaigns, etc.
  • Experience with event marketing activations.
  • Must have experience writing copy for the technology sector.
  • Skilled at budget management and the ability to build business cases for annual plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Must be proficient in using various marketing software and tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Multitasking, proofreading, time management, and organization skills.
  • Flexibility to switch focus between multiple projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English. French is a plus.
  • Must have Angolan Nationality.
